Christopher Thomas Wright

I graduated in 1987 and I reckon I’m getting the hang of this graphic design lark.

I have worked with companies both large and small, understanding that every client needs a unique voice. I approach every project with the simple question “What is it for?”

My skillset includes Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects etc. but the most important tool is the brain – without appropriate thought and analysis the task gets harder.

I work with print and pixel, subtlety and sledgehammer, concept and content, providing the right answers for whoever asks the questions, delivering the correct solution, on time and within budget.

Graphic Design is problem solving.
Explain the message to your audience in a way they will understand, embrace and react to.

In my spare time I sketch and paint and make daft little animations.
They serve no commercial purpose, they just make me happy.

Art is not design, but they complement each other.
And being able to draw is helpful for a designer!

I’m always trying to learn and improve.
Perfection does not exist but that doesn’t stop me aiming for it.
My best work will always be ahead of me.

Thank you for your time.
